This high rise 4-barrel manifold suits the earlier of the two 1UZ engines, not the later VVT-i version also available from us.
Originally built for NZ Speedway SuperStock racing engines in the 400-500 hp range (~300-375 kW). Also often used in hotbeds, burnout cars and other 1UZ retrofit applications where an old school carb completes the desired look.
This is the best intake manifold on the market for SuperStock 1UZ racing engines. Runner lengths, port approach angles and plenum design have been optimised. Drivers comment that throttle pedal “feel” is great throughout the rev range.
On a well-built 10.0:1 SuperStock engine that also uses our CNC ported heads, we see 353 ft-lb (479 N-m) and 507 hp (378 kW) with a very drivable power curve.
